As Processes are completely separate, if you are looking to duplicate the fields found in one Process to another, please follow the steps below.
Please Note: Only Admins, Power Users, and Process Admins, can access Process Settings.
- Click on the 3 hamburger lines to the left of the Process name and select +Create New Process.
- Go into the NEW process.
- Settings > Process Settings> Cover Page.
- Remove ALL unwanted Cover Page Fields by clicking on the red archive line to the right of the Field name.
- You can archive multiple fields at once by clicking the blue checkbox to the left of the Field name > Archive.
- Optional: Scroll to the bottom of the Field list > Archived Fields.
- Optional: From here, click on the trash can to completely delete all unneeded Fields out of this New Process.
- Still in the NEW process under Settings > Process Settings > Cover Page:
- Create the same Group names that are in the ORIGINAL Process by clicking +Add New Group (or edit the existing Group names).
- Go back into the ORIGINAL Process:
- Create a new Project.
- Add a value to each Field.
- Please Note: Fields will ONLY copy to the new Process if there is data in the Field. Example below.
- A single letter for a text Field, or single number for number Field is all that is needed. As long as there is a value, in the Field's format (text, number, choice etc.), the Field will be copied to the NEW Process.
- Once all values have been entered, while still in the ORIGINAL Process, click into a Project card > Actions > Copy to another process.
- Select the Target Process (the NEW Process you just created) along with the desired Stage the Project card should be copied to (doesn't matter what Stage) > Copy.
- Select the NEW Process as the Target Process.
- When the Project has finished copying, open the copied Project in the NEW Process.
- In the NEW Process, under Settings > Process Settings > Cover Page, scroll down to the Additional Fields section, and drag and drop the new Fields to the desired Field Groups.
- Please Note: Required Fields do NOT copy over; you will need to recreate these fields
- You now have an exact copy of your ORIGINAL cover page.
