Only Admins and Power Users can access Slides.

FILTER BASICS

Operators: There are two operators, AND and OR, that allow you to combine filters.

Groups allow you to use multiple operators, and Conditions use a previously selected operator.

Get Started 

1. Toggle on Edit Mode (top right). 
2. Open the Funnel/Filter Icon on your Slides report (upper right), this example uses a Project Table Slide.
3. Click + and select: Groups or Conditions.
4. + Add Group*
5. Once you click + Add Group, a second set of operators will appear, nested underneath the first set. At this point, the operators will be grayed out so you will NOT be able to change them.
6. Select a field, and apply your Filter (in these examples, Projects Stage In Initial Analysis). 
7. Follow the steps below to either: filter with the same operator, or filter with multiple operators.

*Unless you only need one operator (AND / OR) you should always start by +Group. 

But regardless of the number of operators used, it is best practice to start by +Group in case you need to apply additional filters later.  

If you want to FILTER WITH THE SAME OPERATOR:

Examples:

You want to Filter by Project Stage (Initial Analysis) AND by Region (Americas) AND in a specific Vertical (Technology) (most common scenario). 

You want to Filter by Project Stage (Initial Analysis) OR by Region (Americas) OR in a specific Vertical (Technology).

• Select +Add Condition from the second level of operators (circled in red below).
• Select field (Region) and apply filter (= Americas).
• You will see you can now click on AND or OR to combine these filters as needed. Click AND or OR.
• Repeat these steps to add Vertical = Technology.

If you want to FILTER WITH MULTIPLE OPERATORS: 

Example: You want to Filter by Project Stage (Initial Analysis) OR by Region (Americas) AND only show deals with a Date Created in the last 180 days.

• Select +Add Condition from the second level of operators.
• Select field (Region) and apply filter (= Americas).
• Change operator to OR.

• Select +Add Group from the TOP level and select Date Created In Range 180 Days.
• Operator defaults to AND, so now you're done.
