Now that your Pipeline Tracker information has been uploaded and your data is in Midaxo, it's time to create Groups and add in Users. All non-Administrator level users must be assigned to at least one group. By grouping users, you will be able to bulk assign permissions and project access. Follow steps 1- 2 below.
Step 1: Creating User Groups
When logged into Midaxo, select Settings in the upper-right corner > then Workspace and User Settings
Select Groups from the column on the left side, then click the +Group button on the right
Some example Groups might be:
- M&A Team
- Finance Team
- HR Team
Create Groups as needed to best accommodate your team.
Step 2: Adding Users
If you are still in the section where you created your User Groups, select Users from the column on the left.
If not, select Settings in the upper-right corner > then Workspace and User Settings
Select Users from the column on the left side
Click the green + User button on the upper right
Enter the User's email, then click Continue
Add in the Users information and set a Permission Role:
- Administrator: Full access to the entire platform.
- Power User: Full access to platform but unable to add new users, edit existing, or remove users.
- Associate: Can access projects based on group membership as well as update task responsibles.
- This role is not intended to be used for Pipeline CRM accounts.
- Project Member: Can access projects based on group memberships as well as create new projects. Project Members need to be added to individual projects in order to get access to that Project.
- VDR Guest: Can access virtual data rooms by group memberships.
- This role is not intended to be used for Pipeline CRM accounts.
Be sure to add the User to at least one Workspace Group Membership > Click Create
Once you click Create, the new User will receive an email with steps needed to log into the Midaxo platform.
* Additional customization options are available, please be sure to follow your company policies.
