In this section, we will guide you through how to set up Multifactor Authentication (MFA) for your organization. Midaxo Cloud supports both Single Sign-On and Multifactor Authentication, however; both cannot be active at the same time.
MFA can be enabled on a per User basis or for an entire Workspace. When MFA is enabled for a Workspace, all Users will be required to enroll and it cannot be disabled individually.
We currently support time based one-time password (TOTP) authenticators such as Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. OKTA verify is not currently supported.
Activating MFA per User:
Begin by logging into Midaxo and navigating to the Settings button in the upper right corner > select Workspace and User Settings
Select Users from the column on the left
Click on the named User whom you'd like to apply MFA
At the bottom of the Overview tab, you will see Enroll user in Multifactor Authentication and the current status- either enabled or disabled.
Click the button to activate MFA; then an email will then be sent to the Users email address with next steps. Please ensure the User has an Authenticator ready for use.
To deactivate MFA, click on Disable MFA for this user
Activating MFA for a Workspace:
Begin by logging into Midaxo and navigating to the Settings button in the upper right corner > select Workspace and User Settings
Select MFA from the column on the left
The Multifactor Authentication toggle is at the top of the page. Toggle it on to activate MFA for the entire Workspace. It can be toggled off to disable for the Workspace.
