In this section, we will guide you through how to set up SSO in your organization. Connect with your Customer Success Manager for guidance and next steps or reach out to our Support team at Support@midaxo.com
Before we begin, please provide the SSO documentation found here to your IT team who will be assisting with configuration. Midaxo Cloud supports both Single Sign-On and Multifactor Authentication, however; both cannot be active at the same time.
We support SAML 2.0 and OpenID (OIDC). Currently it is not possible to manager permissions through SAML/ OIDC groups.
- If using SAML 2.0, please provide the following information to get started
- Sign-in URL
- X509 Signing certificate/ metadata
- If using OIDC, please provide the follow to get started
- Issuer URL
- Client ID
After you have provided the above information to your Customer Success Manager, the Midaxo team will handle the internal bits. You will receive the return URL and any other requirements to finalize the configuration on your end.
Midaxo can establish the connection only after you share the requested sign-in URL and metadata or the Issuer URL and Client ID based on whether you use SAML or OISC. Please request this from your IT team along with sharing the SSO documentation to ensure a smooth process initiation. We cannot establish the connection on our end without this information.
Once you have configured the required settings on your end, we can test to ensure the SSO is working. We recommend scheduling a call with a member of your IT team and a member of our team to test the SSO login and troubleshoot any configuration issues.
Please Note: SSO can be tested with any active user in Midaxo. It does not have to be a Company Administrator; it can be any user if they are active in Midaxo. Their email should match what they have in your organization's SSO configuration.
If your organization uses OKTA and you have an OKTA Dashboard, you likely have a Midaxo Cloud tile within your dashboard. If not, your IT team can set this up. with an OKTA tile, you can login from your
OKTA dashboard by clicking on the Midaxo Cloud tile.
Please Note: This action is taken on the customer side only and Midaxo has no access to your OKTA.
